Scope and acceptance
These general terms apply to use of the Capital Trading & Logistics website, public tracking, customer accounts, and enquiries for sourcing or logistics services. A written quotation, invoice, transport document, order confirmation, or signed agreement may contain additional terms and will control for that specific service if there is a conflict.
Sourcing and supplier coordination
We coordinate sourcing based on the specifications, quantities, target use, and other information supplied by the client. Product images, samples, specifications, availability, supplier terms, and quotations should be reviewed and approved before purchase. Unless expressly agreed in writing, third-party suppliers remain responsible for manufacturing and product warranties.
Cargo acceptance and customer responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate descriptions, quantities, values, dimensions, weights, handling needs, permits, and supporting documents. Dangerous, restricted, counterfeit, unlawful, or misdeclared goods may be refused, held, returned, or reported as required. Additional costs caused by inaccurate or incomplete information may be charged to the responsible customer.
Transit times, routing, and tracking
Published or quoted transit times are planning estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Flights, sailings, routes, customs, inspections, weather, congestion, carrier capacity, and other operational conditions may cause changes or delays. Tracking information is informational and may be corrected as new carrier, warehouse, customs, or delivery evidence becomes available.
Warehousing, packaging, and inspection
Cargo is received and handled according to confirmed instructions and the agreed service scope. Inspection, consolidation, storage, wooden packaging, or other protective services are provided only where confirmed. Packaging reduces risk but cannot eliminate every possibility of loss or damage.
Customs, duties, and delivery
Customs clearance and delivery may depend on third-party representatives and government authorities. Customers are responsible for authentic documents, required licenses or permits, and applicable duties, taxes, storage, inspection, demurrage, or statutory charges unless the written service agreement states otherwise.
Charges, liability, and insurance
Quoted charges are based on the information and service scope available when the quotation is issued. Changes in cargo, routing, carrier costs, exchange conditions, customs, storage, or delivery requirements may require a revised charge. Any payment schedule, claim procedure, liability limit, or refund condition is governed by the applicable quotation, invoice, transport document, or signed agreement.
Customers should request appropriate cargo insurance where loss, damage, or delay would create material exposure. Insurance is not included unless it is expressly confirmed in writing.
Website accounts and acceptable use
Users must protect account credentials, provide accurate information, and use the website only for legitimate company, sourcing, shipment, support, or tracking purposes. Attempts to bypass access controls, access another customer’s information, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, or submit unlawful or misleading content are prohibited.
